Terms of Service
Last updated: June 28, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form an agreement between you and LARSENQ AS (org.nr 930 284 815, Norway) ("cmdv", "we", "us") and govern your use of the cmdv clipboard service and website. By creating an account or using cmdv, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. The service
cmdv is a privacy-first clipboard manager. Sign-in is passwordless using one-time codes sent to your email, and accounts are free. We are building end-to-end encrypted cloud sync, designed so that your content is encrypted on your device and we cannot read it; when it launches, paid cloud sync will be offered as a subscription (see "Payments and subscriptions" below).
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country, to use cmdv. By using the service you confirm that you meet this requirement.
3. Your account
You are responsible for the email account used to sign in and for the devices on which you use cmdv. Keep access to your email secure, since anyone who receives your login code can access your account.
4. Your content and encryption
You retain all rights to your content. Our planned cloud sync is designed to be zero-knowledge: your encryption key never leaves your device, so we will not be able to access, recover, or restore your synced content if you lose your key or access to your account. You are responsible for keeping backups where appropriate.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service for any unlawful purpose or to store unlawful content;
- attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the service or other users' data;
- circumvent security, rate limits, or usage restrictions, or probe the service for vulnerabilities without permission.
6. Payments and subscriptions
Paid plans are not yet available; the terms in this section and in "Refunds" below apply once paid cloud sync launches. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Creem (Armitage Labs OÜ, Estonia). Creem is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Creem provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Charges appear on your bank or card statement as "CREEM.IO* STORE".
Paid plans are billed on a recurring subscription basis (for example monthly or annually) and renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time through the billing or subscription-management link provided in your order confirmation or receipt; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Prices are shown at checkout and applicable taxes are calculated and collected by Creem based on your location.
7. Refunds
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied for any reason, contact us at privacy@cmdv.to within 14 days of your purchase for a full refund, no questions asked. Because Creem is our Merchant of Record, refunds are processed by Creem, and you can also request a refund or manage your subscription directly through the link in your Creem receipt. If you do not recognize a charge or have a billing concern, please contact us first so we can resolve it quickly, rather than opening a dispute with your bank.
8. Availability and disclaimer
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure against every threat.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LARSENQ AS will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the service in a way that risks harm to others or to the service. You may stop using cmdv and delete your account at any time.
11. Complaints
If you have a complaint, email us at privacy@cmdv.to and we will acknowledge it within 5 business days and aim to resolve it within 30 days. For purchases, complaints about billing, returns, or the order can also be raised with our Merchant of Record, Creem. If we cannot resolve a dispute, EU/EEA consumers can find a national alternative dispute resolution (ADR) body via the European Commission's list of dispute resolution bodies (consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu/dispute-resolution-bodies) or contact their local European Consumer Centre (ECC-Net). Consumers in Norway may contact Forbrukertilsynet or Forbrukerklageutvalget.
12. Changes to the service and Terms
We may update the service or these Terms. For material changes to the Terms we will update the date above and take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. This does not deprive you of mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
